Quentessa T. Showes is the visionary founder and Executive Director of Plan Big Dream Bigger Foundation, the nonprofit organization behind The Rec Cincy Youth & Family Resource Hub. Driven by a deep commitment to breaking generational barriers and creating opportunity where it is often absent, Quentessa founded the organization to provide safe, empowering spaces for youth and families in underserved communities.
As a community advocate and entrepreneur, Quentessa has dedicated her work to addressing the critical gap in programming for youth ages 12 and up—an age group often overlooked in traditional youth services. Her vision for The Rec Cincy includes a comprehensive center offering mentorship, athletics, career development, trade training, mental health resources, and family support services.
Quentessa brings strong leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement experience to the organization. Her mission is rooted in creating environments where young people can thrive, build confidence, discover their purpose, and access opportunities that change the trajectory of their lives.
Through collaboration with community leaders, educators, and local partners, Quentessa is committed to building a transformative hub that empowers the next generation while strengthening families and neighborhoods across Cincinnati.

Dr. Kareem Moncree-Moffett serves as the Interim President of the Board of Directors for Plan Big Dream Bigger Foundation.
Dr. Kareem Moncree-Moffett serves as the Interim President of the Board of Directors for Plan Big Dream Bigger Foundation. A respected leader and advocate for community empowerment, Dr. Moncree-Moffett brings valuable experience in leadership, education, and organizational development.
As Interim President, she provides strategic guidance and governance oversight to support the organization during its early development phase. Her commitment to strengthening youth and family systems aligns closely with the foundation’s mission to create safe, opportunity-driven environments for young people.
Dr. Moncree-Moffett’s leadership has been instrumental in helping establish the organization’s governance structure and ensuring the foundation is positioned for long-term sustainability and impact.
Dr. Moncree-Moffett is currently serving in this interim role during the organization’s formation period.
